Humane Society of Southern Arizona Launches Giving Tattoos Day to Combat Shelter Overcrowding
The Humane Society of Southern Arizona (HSSA) announces the launch of Giving Tattoos Day, aimed at raising awareness and funds to combat shelter overcrowding through spaying and neutering. The campaign name is a fun twist on Giving Tuesday and highlights the green tattoo pets receive after their spay/neuter surgery. Over the last year, HSSA has performed over 7,000 spay and neuter surgeries. From now through December, supporters can donate any amount to help homeless pets and receive a custom temporary tattoo as a thank-you.
